Mr. Groysman has been the Prime Minister of Ukraine since 14 April 2016. Groysman has indicated he would fight corruption and build closer ties with the European Union, which has complained about widespread and pervasive corruption in Ukraine’s government and economy.

From March 2006 until February 2014 Groysman was the Mayor of Vinnytsia. From then to November 2014, he held two concurrent positions as the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for Regional Policy and the Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine. He was elected into parliament on the party lists of the pro-presidential Petro Poroshenko Bloc. Groysman’s next post was the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine’s national parliament), starting late November 2014 until being appointed Prime Minister.

Jaroslawa Z. Johnson was appointed WNISEF President and CEO effective January 1, 2015. Ms. Johnson directs, oversees and provides overall management for the WNISEF program activities and remains a member of the Fund’s Board of Directors in addition to her role as President and CEO.

Ms. Johnson was born in Ukraine and emigrated to the U.S. as a child. She is a graduate of Goucher College and University of Wisconsin Law School, where she was editor of the law review and earned a J.D. in 1977. After law school, she served as law clerk to Chief Judge Thomas E. Fairchild, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and practiced corporate law with several Chicago law firms.

She is a founding member and former chairperson of America Ukraine Business Council, which sponsored the first American visit of a Ukrainian president in 1991, and she organized the first Ukraine-U.S. Trade Conference for American companies in 1992. She was appointed by former U.S. President Bill Clinton to the Board of Directors of the Western NIS Enterprise Fund in 1994, serving as an active member of the Board since its inception.

Prior to her appointment as President and CEO of WNISEF, Ms. Johnson was managing partner of an international law office in Kyiv, Ukraine, which she launched in the early 1990s. Ms. Johnson’s extensive international corporate practice included counseling corporations in many countries on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing transactions, project finance and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act compliance in the US and Central and Eastern Europe.

Over the course of more than two decades of international corporate legal work, Ms. Johnson advised many Fortune 500 companies and other Western multinationals on cross-border transactions with Ukraine. During her many years as an international corporate attorney in Ukraine, Ms. Johnson was consistently recognized by international legal directories as a leading lawyer in Ukraine’s corporate, banking and finance and energy sectors.

In August 2016 Jaroslawa Z. Johnson was awarded a Commemorative Medal on the Occasion of the 25th Anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence by President Petro Poroshenko in recognition of her contribution to Ukraine over the past 23 years.

Born in a military family on July 19, 1971 in the village of Bilovodske of the Moscovskyi district of the Kyrgyz SSR. Together with his parents and his younger brother Volodymyr lived in various regions of the Soviet Union. In 1984 the family moved to Ukraine.

Graduated from the State Higher Educational Institution “Hryhorii Skovoroda State Pedagogical University of Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyi “. PhD in Sports and Physical Education. He maintained his thesis research on “Method of determining the qualities of boxers in the system of multi-stage sports selection”. In January 2011 graduated from the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine. Got a Master’s degree in Management of Social Development.

Started boxing at 14 years old. His sports career yielded world-class accomplishments: Klitschko became a two-time world champion in amateur kickboxing and a quadruple champion in professional kickboxing, a three-time boxing champion of Ukraine, the First Military World Games champion, a silver medalist of the amateur World Boxing Championship.

Gets in the professional ring in 1996: becomes European Boxing Champion, Intercontinental Champion of WBO and WBA, WBO and WBC Heavyweight World Champion. The World Boxing Council named Vitali Klitschko the best puncher in the history of the heavyweight division.

Deeply engaged in social activities. In 2003 together with his brother Volodymyr founded a charitable organization “Klitschko Foundation”.

His political career began in March 2006 when he simultaneously ran for the Verkhovna Rada and Kyiv City Council as Chairman of the “Pora-PRP” Bloc. Following the elections, heads the faction in the Kyiv City Council.

After the off-year mayoral and Kyiv City Council elections in spring 2008, the Vitali Klitschko Bloc doubled its seats in the City Council. In February 2011, the Klitschko Bloc faction in Kyiv City Council was renamed the “Vitali Klitschko UDAR” faction.

In April 2010 he was the head of the “UDAR (Ukrainian Democratic Alliance for Reforms)” political party.

Following the parliamentary elections in 2012, the “Vitali Klitschko UDAR” party enters the Verkhovna Rada.

Education

The Prince received his primary education at the Nieuwe Baarnse School in Baarn and his secondary education at the Eerste Vrijzinnig Christelijk Lyceum in The Hague, where he gained his VWO (pre-university education) certificate in 1987. During the 1987/1988 academic year, Prince Constantijn attended language courses in France and Italy.

In 1995 he gained his master’s degree in law from Leiden University where he specialised in civil law. In 2000 he studied business economics at the European Institute of Business Administration in Fontainebleau (INSEAD).

Marriage and family

Prince Constantijn married Laurentien Brinkhorst in The Hague on 17 May 2001. The marriage was blessed on 19 May 2001 in the Grote of St Jacobskerk in The Hague.

Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien have three children. Their first daughter Eloise was born on 8 June 2002, their son Claus-Casimir on 21 March 2004 and their second daughter, Leonore, on 3 June 2006. The family lives in The Hague.

Work

On 1 July 2016 Prince Constantijn was appointed Special Envoy for StartupDelta2020. The Prince will be at the helm of the successor to StartupDelta – with which he was closely involved as an advisor – for the next 18 months. Prince Constantijn is an independent adviser on corporate innovation and jointly initiated Startup Fest Europe, a five-day festival of events throughout the Netherlands. He is also Director of Digital Technology and Macro Strategy at Macro Advisory Partners in London. In January 2017 the Prince joined the 15-strong High Level Group of Innovators that advises the European Commission on improving Europe’s performance in breakthrough, market-creating innovation.

The Prince began his working life in the cabinet of the European Commissioner, Hans van den Broek. He then studied business economics at the European Institute of Business Administration in Fontainebleau (INSEAD) and had a work placement at the International Finance Corporation in Washington DC. The Prince went on to work as a management consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton in London and as a policy researcher for RAND Europe in Leiden and Brussels, where he was subsequently appointed head of the Information Policy and Economics Team. In 2008 Prince Constantijn set up the Brussels office of RAND Corporation, which he headed until 2010.

The Prince worked as an adviser on EU communications at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2003 to 2008.

On 1 October 2015 Prince Constantijn was appointed temporary Edge Fellow at Deloitte’s Center for the Edge. In this position he advises on cooperation between the parties relevant to the innovation climate in the Netherlands and Europe.

Iryna coordinates the Local Economic Development Program under which Western NIS Enterprise Fund supported a number of projects. In particular, the e-public procurement system ProZorro, ProZorro.Sale 1991 Open Data Incubator, Technovation Challenge project, CANactions Scholl of Urban Studies, reconstruction of schools in post-war territory, “Hub Schools” project and others.

Previously, Iryna worked at ADETEF, a public agency of French international technical assistance under the Ministry of Finance of France that ensures intergovernmental cooperation between the two countries at the national and regional levels in the field of public finance, audit, public service reform, energy efficiency and transport.

She is a member of the Board of the Professional Government Initiative, which brought together graduates of foreign universities to support the reforms. Iryna conducted a study on the role of graduates of foreign universities as change agents in Ukraine, the results of which were provided to the team of reformers at the Presidential Administration.
Master of Advanced European Studies at College of Europe (Warsaw), Iryna taught European integration policy at the National Academy of Public Administration, where she did her thesis.

Arturo Gonzalez is Senior Director at Visa where he focuses on strategic analysis of issues involving payment economics, such as interchange and pricing regulation of payment networks. An economist, Arturo’s resume includes senior positions at the Federal Reserve and Comptroller of the Currency in Washington, DC, as well as in consulting, research and academic institutions. He is the author of academic articles as well as more accessible policy-oriented pieces. Arturo received his economics PhD from University of California, Santa Barbara, which awarded him the best social sciences dissertation.

Karl Tlais is Head of Strategic Partnerships in the Innovation Group at Visa for CEMEA, working with market influencers, government and enterprise clients, ecosystem partners and fintechs.

Prior to joining Visa, Karl led Microsoft’s alliance and regional enterprise partner strategy for the MEA region. Before that, he spearheaded Cisco’s Service Provider Cloud & Managed Services Go-To-Market strategy for the Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific region.

Karl’s background includes over a decade in Australia, where he held senior roles with service providers, system integrators and vendors.

Karl has a Master’s degree in Engineering Management, and a Telecommunications Engineering degree from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Yevgen Lisnyak is currently the Head of Innovation Solutions in CIS & South-East Europe (17 markets). His main areas of responsibilities include smart cities, mass transit solutions, non-financial applications, ID, social, student, citizen cards.

Yevgen joined Visa in 2017 as a member of Digital Solutions team. During his stay at Visa Yevgen successfully managed and launched implementation of transit solutions in Zhytomyr (UA) and Minsk (BY) from the scratch. Now Yevgen works on development of existing projects and launching new smart cities and transit initiatives in multiple markets.

Yevgen Lisnyak brings to Visa Digital Solutions team over 10 years of international experience in IT and consulting gained with leading international companies.

Mr. Lisnyak holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Physics and Mathematics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT).

Since July 2016 Mykhailo Shelemba is a CEO of telecommunication company Datagroup.

He started his career in banking sector, then joined McKinsey&Company in 2010, where he led projects in the banking, telecommunication, mining and metallurgy sectors in the European and the Middle Eastern regions. He was recognized as the best top manager of the telecom industry in 2017 according to Delo.ua.

Mykhailo focuses on the strategic development of the Company and the expansion of its activities. Since his appointment in Datagroup Mykhailo managed to significantly increase sales and introduce important processes of business transformation.

As part of the strategy Datagroup implements “Safe City” project in Ukrainian. Under this project, the Company plans to expand its cooperation with local authorities of each region in Ukraine, where they plan to launch face recognition, car registration plates recognition,  fire detection and fire alarm systems.

Datagroup provides all kinds of telecommunication services all over Ukraine based on its own network, part of which is a modern KA-band satellite technology which covers 100{906ca28f7ab3030e064897f03a18ab97e397a58ee19ca0ec033f5ecb2537e8e4} of the country. This makes Datagroup the leader in a geography coverage for the service provision.

Ruben is an entrepreneur, and now Entrepreneur in Residence acting as director StartupAmsterdam. He was a driving force in connecting the leading Dutch Startup Initiatives & Tech Clusters into a catalyst program: StartupDelta. His goal is to create the space in Amsterdam where entrepreneurs standup, startup and then scale-up.

Co-author of the book StartupCity. StartupCity is designed to provide administrators, civil servants and public-private initiatives the guidance on how they can think and work as a startup. It gives a comprehensive look at how the public sector can engage with the private sector to form initiatives that boost the startup worlds ecosystem and nurture the city as a breeding ground for innovation and job growth.

The last years he is focused on connecting the startup ecosystems worldwide.

Nieuwenhuis was the last years involved in various startups and innovation projects: i.e. DutchBasecamp, OpenDutchHackathon, CodeUur, Lead Partnership Initiative, Dutch Coding Week, Open Cities, FellowForce, Dutch Jugaad Innovation.

Nieuwenhuis (1972) has lived and worked in Russia, Kazakstan and is currently working in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

In his first (management) book, ‘Weak Tea Will Bring you Nowhere’, he provides concise, confrontational and challenging advice on the topics of Innovation, Business Development and Entrepreneurship.

Mr. Patrick H. Arbor served three consecutive two-year terms as chairman of the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT). Under Mr. Arbor’s watch, the CBOT enjoyed its most successful years ever, charting six years of record growth and charting the future of both electronic and floor-based trading. He has been a member of the CBOT since 1965, serving three years as Vice Chairman and another ten years as Director.

He also sat for three years on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of both the Board of Trade Clearing Corporation and the National Futures Association.

Mr. Arbor is a Principal of the trading firm Shatkin Arbor. He serves as a member of the Advisory Committee of Merriman Curhan Ford & Co, an American Exchange listed company.

His numerous Board positions include the Board of Trustees of Loyola University of Chicago; Chicago’s Mercy Home for Boys and Girls; the Mission of Our Lady of Mercy; and Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago. President Bill Clinton appointed Mr. Arbor to the Western NIS Enterprise Fund Board of Directors in October 1994.

Mr. Arbor is a veteran mountain climber, who has scaled many of the world’s tallest peaks, including Aconcagua, Mont Blanc, Mt Eiger, and Mt Kilimanjaro. Mr. Arbor is a lifelong resident of Chicago.

Bill Karsten was elected to Halifax Regional Council during the 2004 election to represent District 7, Portland – East Woodlawn. He was re-elected in 2012 to represent District 3, Dartmouth South Eastern Passage. Councillor Karsten is a member of a variety of HRM Boards and Committees.

Councillor Karsten has lived in Halifax, District 7 for 25 years with his wife Muriel and his two daughters, Kerry and Meaghan. He has a 30-year business background in Sales, Marketing and Management. Most recently he spent 22 years as District Manager (Atlantic Canada) for Curtis Industries of Canada Ltd.

A dedicated volunteer, he has coached several Woodlawn Softball teams, organized local and provincial tournaments and has done extensive fundraising. He was an active member of the Canadian Cancer Society. His most recent volunteer efforts include serving as Vice President of Child Find Nova Scotia and on the Board of Directors of Child Find Canada.

Alvaro currently serves a Partner and is responsible for the Solution Center (CS) from the consulting practice in Deloitte Argentina.

Based in the Buenos Aires office, he leads the CS for the last four years focusing on digital transformation for public sector entities at a national, state and local level.

Armando Daniel Guibert is an industrial engineer with specialization in Economics and Business Organization, with several postgraduate courses on infrastructure and public sector economy. He has also been a speaker at various national and international forums on issues of privatization and concession of public infrastructure and transportation, reform and modernization of state agencies, government procurement system, among others.

He is a Partner at Deloitte Argentina. He was the LATCO Public Sector Leader from 2003 till 2004 and Americas Public Sector Leader since 2015. He has participated in several projects in the Government of the City of Buenos Aires including those related to Smart Cities; the implementation of technologic projects for the restructuring of the national social security agency and projects for the restructuring of public national and local organizations. Besides, he participated in projects related to financing and infrastructure.

Armando was Secretary of Transportation and Public Works. During his administration, there were tendered numerous works of road infrastructure, water and transport. He created the first Federal Trust Fund for Regional Infrastructure, developing the bill and the new regulatory framework for the financing of public works in the National Government and the Provincial States. The Scheme of private initiative to finance public works projects and the draft Law on Procurement of Public Works and Services was proposed and achieved.

Regarding reform and modernization of public entities, Armando was Undersecretary of Public Sector Reform Provincial Office. He coordinated the Provincial Reform Program and developed the first fiscal pact between the Provincial Governments and the Central Government. He participated in the design of the organization and negotiation of the Provincial Reform Program, which aimed at improving management systems and the financial restructuring of the Argentine Provinces, with funding from the IDB and the World Bank. He developed the flood rehabilitation program for seven provinces, building more than 30,000 homes.

Regarding procurement, Armando was the General Director of the National Office of Procurement Agency. During his administration, he was responsible for designing the conceptual model and operating the National Procurement Office of the Argentine Government.

Andriy Bulakh is Managing Partner at Deloitte Ukraine.  He has more than 18 years of audit experience.  He has been partner with Deloitte since 2006 and was partner in charge of audit in 2010–2014.  In 2014, Andriy became Managing Partner.

He has participated in a wide range of projects for international and domestic companies and has extensive experience in leading audit engagements that involve rendering services at multiple locations and to numerous companies.

Iryna Patronyk is Manager at Deloitte Ukraine, coordinator of the Municipal and Regional Development Group.

Iryna has over eight years of experience in local economic development, policy analysis, public policy communication, strategic planning, and project management.

Has worked as a head of communications program in the City Institute established by the Lviv City Council, a communications director and analyst at the International Center for Policy Studies.  As an independent consultant, she has co-operated with international and non-governmental organizations, for example, in the project “Local Economic Development of Ukrainian Cities” of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, has been an expert on the preparation of best practices and success stories of project partner cities.

“Debra and her husband Greg live in Weyburn, Saskatchewan and have been blessed with four children ranging in ages from seven to twenty-one years.

She was first elected into municipal politics in 1997 as a councillor for the City of Weyburn and feels very fortunate to be entering into her third-term as mayor for that great city.

Debra has served on a wide variety of committees and projects and has appreciated the many and varied opportunities she has been given to work with some incredible individuals.

Over the past seven, Debra has been active with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, including Vice-Chair of FCM’s Standing Committee on International Relations, the Gender Government Representative for Ukraine and more recently PTA Representative on FCM’s Executive Committee.

She is currently in the fourth year of her term as SUMA President and welcomes the friendships and relationships that are sure to evolve over the next few years.

Engaged in international economic and business development. Before moving to Ukraine Kadie worked in Canadian cities and as a consultant internationally. She is an award-winning multi-media producer and economic developer who has created and activated several international campaigns aimed at attracting foreign direct investment and trade. Currently Kadie is a Senior Governance Advisor for the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ international program “Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance” (PLEDDG). She works with sixteen cities across Ukraine to support open governance, economic development and intergovernmental cooperation.

Together with partner, Klymov founded Nova poshta in 2001. In 2015, Klymov left its Director General position to join the Supervisory Board and focus on strategic management of the group of companies Nova poshta turned into.

Obtained master’s degree in aviation engineering from Kharkiv Aviation Institute in 1998. In 2007 obtained MBA from International Institute of Business (Kyiv, Ukraine).

In 2016 elected President of non-governmental organization SUP – the first non-political union of entrepreneurs aimed at creating favorable business environment in Ukraine.

Susan Kosinski Fritz began as the Regional Mission Director to Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova on July 27th, 2016. In her role, she oversees a Mission of approximately 120 staff managing a portfolio of approximately $965 million in Ukraine and $57.3 million in Belarus. Prior to her position as Regional Mission Director, Fritz was Senior Deputy Assistant Administrator and Acting Assistant Administrator in the Europe and Eurasia (E&E) Bureau. In that role, Fritz oversaw program and management systems for the Bureau’s $500 million annual budget to assist 13 countries in Europe and Eurasia.

During her 27 year USAID career, Fritz served as Mission Director in East Africa and Serbia and Montenegro, Deputy Mission Director in Kosovo, Regional Democracy Officer in Bulgaria, and Democracy Office Director in Central Asia and in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Washington, she served as the Elections and Political Process Team Leader in the Democracy and Governance Center, and in several positions in the E&E Bureau’s Democracy Office. Fritz has a Master of Public Administration degree from American University and a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Political Science from Rutgers University. Fritz is married to retired USAID Foreign Service Officer Michael Fritz. They have twins, Kai and Cody, born in 2002.

Yaroslav Yurchyshyn graduated from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (teacher of history, historian, archeologist); National University Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Department for Social Sciences and Technologies); School for Practical Psychology courses (applied psychologist); National University Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Master of political science, specialization – European studies). He has an extensive experience in organization of campaigns for public lobbying, political expertise and policy analysis. Since 2013 he is the Head of Council (Plast National Council) of Plast – a national scout organization of Ukraine. On a voluntary basis he was an Advisor to the Secretary of the Council of the National Security and Defense of Ukraine; an advising assistant to a Member of the Ukrainian Parliament L.Yu. Orobets; a Chief specialist in communication with the management of the Investment bank “Phoenix-Capital”, a Head of the Assistant Service of the Secretariat Head of the organization “HART Foundation of Regional Initiatives”; a Trainer in traditional and new media of the Institute of Political Education; a Political Expert of the National round table “Awakening for European Future”. Ya. Yurchyshyn is a Head of the department for preparation and discussion of the reforms at the Reforms Center of the Institute of Social Innovations Development.
